Pastor Kevin Wright holding this bone is from a giraffe. It is real heavy and dense. It weighed somewhere around 60 pounds. You can see how they can defend themselves from lions by kicking with these beefy legs.
I'm currently on a Pastor's Vision Trip in Africa. We will begin our trip in Africa and split up in teams to travel to Rwanda, Ethiopia and Katito, Kenya. Pastors Vision Trips connect the U.S. church to children, communities, and churches on the front lines of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. By providing an opportunity for busy church leaders to visit the field and see the impact of HIV and AIDS firsthand, we believe that God can use us, in partnership with our African brothers and sisters, to help turn the tide on this devastating disease. Churches can send one or two leaders, one of whom must be the senior pastor.
